Just pregnant!!

Hi everyone

i just registered on here today having found out a few days ago i'm pregnant ... only 4 weeks 3 days so a long way to go!!!

We decided to start trying in the new year and shockingly it worked first time. We're really happy but I'm now terrified/anxious too. Is that normal?

I've been cramping for a week or so which i know is normal but i'm still paranoid. How long does it usualy go on for? I know as soon as it stops i'll be paranoid again that something is wrong.

Many many congrats on your new bean! I'm sure when experiencing pregnancy for the first time, every twinge makes you worry but more often than not, it's something perfectly normal. No pregnancy is totally predictable

Hi and congratulations! I am also a first timer (also got pregnant first month of trying too) and am 7+3 now. Also had appalling cramps the first couple of weeks, to the point that it woke me up a few times when I was about 5 and a half weeks gone. Also had some spotting and even a little bit of red bleeding, but all seems ok now. The tummy aches have now eased off, although now I'm worried becaude I'm not having them!! Ha ha, can't win can we?? Being pregnant is not what I had thought, I am too paranoid to enjoy it, although since my early scan last weekend and seeing my baby's heartbeat I am certainly feeling more relaxed now. Just waiting for 12 weeks to start telling everybody - if I can wait that long!!

I guess you just need to grin and bare it for a few weeks though, I'm sure it will get better! Lots of love xx

Mrs W, i went to the docs yesterday and she told me i wouldn't have a scan until the end of March ... that seems ages away although i suppose i will only be 12 weeks then. Did you have to pay for the early scan? I think i may!!!

I know, its ridiculous ... symptoms are bad, lack of symptoms even worse!!! My poor husband is dreading the next few months with my paranoia bless him!!!

Congratulations to you btw. When are you due? I'm October 5th. Terrified already!!!
