Hi, I am new on here and wanted to introduce myself, I'm Kim, I'm only 4 weeks pregnant so have a long way to go! My due date is 25th May 2010. My husband and I are quite nervous as I had a miscarriage in July at 6 weeks. So I'm quite on edge, it kind of takes the excitement away a bit but hopefully it'll get easier. I have been looking on here the last few days and thought I should just join! Thanks for reading and hope to speak to you soon, Kim

ah thank you all for the welcome! I know it'll get easier and I need to stop being so paranoid! I think I will still go for an early scan though, just to put my mind at rest.

Yep, heartburn, had mild cramps but they are gone. Now just got sore boobs! thats about it, i'm sure there is plenty more to come, everything feels very different, What about you??

Hi Kim, welcome and congratulations! The time does seem to drag at the minute doesn't it! Can't wait for 12 weeks so I can start to relax, sure you'll feel the same, but hopefully it'll be here before we know it and all will be grand x

After The initial excitement wore off I felt just like you... Started reading lots of pregnancy sites and what can go wrong and I was really paranoid. I haven't suffered a mc but am older and have a greater chance, hence my worry. It must have been heartbreaking for you. Now I am just reading positive stuff and coming on this site helps a lot. And I keep reminding myself that most pregnancies go well so the odds are definitely with us!

Another thing that has helped is looking at what stage the baby will be at various future events like when I meet up with all my family at christmas. It has made me a bit more excited again. I have only known for a few weeks, but even so, as the weeks go by (which feel like months) it's easier to feel more positive.

So far i have been feeling a bit sicky, espeically after I eat. I seem to be constantly hungry! My boobs are very sore! Im peeing alot. So this is all positive. I seem to be having more symptoms than last time which i'm taking as a good thing. But i know all pregnancies are different.

I am just after you due date 27th May. I know how scary it is at the moment i too lost one baby at 6 weeks and another 2 months later at 5 weeks. But i am trying to stay positive!!
Hopefully we can become bump buddies x

Congrats!! Ull find plenty of support on this forum and its lovely to see so many others going through the same things! Im also roughly 4 weeks - im due 28th May so our dates are similar

I am waiting for an apponitment for my 12 week scan time seems to be going so slowly

Hey im new too and only posted for the first time on sun i think!! First pregnacy, bit shell shocked and on edge too - no idea if the twinges that i am getting are normal etc!!!

Hi!

I'm also due around the same time, around 24th May! I agree it's exciting but scary at the same time. I have had similar symptoms - sore boobs, peeing a lot and always hungry! Did get bad cramps initially but that was just before I got my BFP.

Here's to the next 8 months x
