Just had 37 week check up

Midwife has just been and says baby's head is engaging and doesnt think i have too long to wait now
She still wants me to go for growth scan on Friday but baby measured 35cm today and she thinks she will be about 7lbs already (my first was 8lbs 7oz when born 2 days late). She is less worried now about baby being small and thinks now that she is engaged its made all the difference in being able to measure her more accuratly which is a weight off my shoulders tbh as i was a bit worried.
She also said that with her being my second that usually they engage when your going into labour but not had any pains yet but she did say that she has a feeling by the time she sees me next week i will have had the baby
I hope im not jinxing things sharing this lol, Knowing my luck i will be sat here still pregnant 4 weeks from now!
Come on wee baby!!!

That all sounds very exciting... just dont get your hopes up because you will hate her when in three weeks if you're still pregnant! xx

Lol i know, it will just be my luck lol but i might ask after my scan on friday if i could maybe get induced or at least have a sweep done to get things moving as she is full term anyway. Not sure if they will or not tho!

Hey mine was measuring 35cm too but she thinks as baby is all tightly pack inside me he will be still a bigger baby
