** January 2019 **

No I haven't told them I'm pregnant yet, pulling and lots of lifting. I'm on replenishment so basically moving the cages from the warehouse to shop floor, unloading the cages and stacking it all shelves - tonight for example I was on home bake so packs of 8x 1kg bags of flour, packs of 10x 500g sugar, crates of jam, crates of peanut butter etc.

Got my results today. One in less than 20,000 for all 3 :) apparently they stop testing after that as the risk is so low, so that made me happy.

I also finally got put on some anti-nausea medication! Woohoo hopefully I can feel human again now!!

Careful with the lifting Mayflower! You can cause a placental abruption if you lift too much. That's a medical emergency for you and baby. I don't want to scare you but I definitely wouldn't risk it. My doc has said not to lift anything heavy starting from about 12 weeks. I worked at a supermarket for 5 years and when the nightfill people fell pregnant they were always sent straight to another department as the company didn't want to be liable for anything happening, I think you should tell them x

Great news for your results winterwolf!

Mayflower I agree with winterwolf I think you need to tell them. Or if you aren’t quite ready perhaps just start breaking down what you are lifting x

Thanks :)

Yeah, small loads won't hurt but be careful not to overdo it!

Here you all are! I wondered where you all went. Im a bit early to be in here. But 12 weeks today FINALLY! thought my nausea had gone but threw up making my kids lunches this morning. I have my scan and NT screen tomorrow.

I woke up yesterday and had the tiniest bit of brown on the tissue so my anxiety has gone through the roof. It really was minimal and im putting it down to the really long walk i went on the day before. I cant believe a few of you find out so soon xxx

Good luck for your scan! Hope all goes well x

Good luck! Keeping my fingers crossed that the spotting was nothing. x

How's everyone how are all you symptoms? X

Still sick. Very sick. Anti-nausea medication stops me vomiting but does little for the nausea. Still exhausted. I've had bad headaches and insomnia the last few days too.. so all in all, miserable!!

I just feel exhausted, and I'm so impatient to find out the gender! I don't know how anyone can go the whole pregnancy without knowing!

Oh winter wolf you sound like you are having a terrible time! I think you will have a girl lol! Hope it eases at some point for you!

I agree with the nausea I’m also struggling with number 2 aswell don’t know if I have a bug but little to no appetite and going far too often! I’m strangely no more tired than normal though, have you told work yet mayflower. Xx

Winterwolf I really sympathise. How long have you been taking the anti nausea medication for? I am having to take two types to keep the sickness away, almost done 2 weeks without vomiting and only the last week I have had some relief from
Nausea, I’ve been on meds since 6 weeks so it’s taken ages for it to start relieving the nausea, downside is I am now eating again and the pounds are piling on, doesn’t help that my body wants carbs. I’m really struggling with the concept of gaining weight as it took me so long to lose loads and get to a healthy weight

I've only been taking it for a few days (14 weeks today). I tried to suck it up until the end of tri 1 but since I'm feeling worse, not better, I had to get help. It's nice not to vomit anymore. The doc said she can try me on other sorts to help with the nausea so I'll speak to her on Monday.

Early on food helped with the nausea so I was eating all the carbs in the world too. I gained 4kg between weeks 5-10. I'll be losing it now though. Haven't really eaten much the last few weeks. I used to be overweight many years ago so I understand how you feel with not wanting to gain weight.. you never really lose that mentality I think. But as long as it's not loads and loads it's good for the baby x

MrsBridge hope you're right and it's a girl!! Mum says it's a boy because only boys cause this much trouble hahah

Haha well you find out soon don’t you?!

I think I am finally starting to gain weight now as it isn’t rapidly dropping anymore! 15 weeks today just wish I could eat better I am really only snacking still they are not meals what I am eating at all and it’s all junk :wall2: x

Yes, 8 days!!

Ah don't worry I haven't eaten anything healthy since about week 5. The pre-natal vitamins help minimise the damage nutritionally at least...
