******January 2019 Mummies******

Glad all went well! I updated your date <3

We went out on a limb and bought a fetal doppler. I have been told that it may be too early to hear the HB and not to freak out when you don't find it..

WELL....WE FOUND IT!!! So beyond happy to find it at home knowing I still have a week until my next appointment. HB was sitting around 173 for 11 weeks 2 days. <3 <3

I am starting to feel nervous for my NT scan on Friday. Baby wasn’t moving on the last scan I had and I have always thought the heartbeat appears slow so I am going to mention it as I remember my daughter bouncing around like a jumping bean on first scan. I really hope there is nothing wrong :-( x

Hi MrsBridge, I don't think my son moved at all during either of his scans. Try not to worry, perhaps little bean is having a nap or is possibly a boy if heart rate is slower. This is true of my two, daughter had a very fast heart rate and my son was notably slower.

Just got my scan date through. 10th July so I'll be 13+1 when I have the scan. On to the next worrying part when I worry if all is healthy and praying I won't need an amniocentesis! Once I have the scan and all is well I can tell my family and work. I feel a little disconnected from it all still, as if it isn't really happening yet so hopefully I'll feel a little less numb after everyone knows FX

Glad all ok Flossy, lovely to hear everyone's scan news xxx

Ahhh guys I have a wee infections antibiotics for next 5 days. Can a wee infection harm my little sprout ? So worried XX

Oh CI good theory about a baby boy, My daughter says we should put it back if it is a boy hahaha x

I will remind her of this when she has children of her own lol x

UTIs can't hurt the baby Sarah. The antibiotics could if they're not pregnancy safe, but I assume your doc prescribed the right sort when you told him you're pregnant. :)

Don't worry about the baby not moving MrsBridge - they don't move 24/7. It's probably all fine :)

Thanks winter- you are very knowledgeable yes he gave me preg safe ones.

How is everyone today? X

MrsBridge my little one wasn’t moving around, peacefully sleeping but soon woke up once sonographer made me jiggle around, had its legs crossed so she couldn’t see two feet and wanted to double check, it made a few wiggles and summersaults and after what looked like a sneeze it settled back down to peaceful stillness so I wouldn’t worry. If it didn’t have its legs crossed and she could have done all the checks as it was I doubt we would have seen it move either!

Sarah uti are really common in pregnancy so wont harm baby, especially as you’re getting it treated with pregnancy safe antibiotics.

I’m ok today, couple of days off work as going away with hubby, so glad I feel human enough to actually go. Still tired and eating loads of crisps. Wearing maternity jeans now as have a little bump so no normal clothes fit!! Not liking the fat feeling at the moment, took me years to shift loads of weight and just praying that I don’t put it all back on in this pregnancy!!

Thanks flossy, I am seeing midwife tomorrow anyway. Sure she will do another wee sample and reassure my worries XX

Hi Sarah, just thread crashing to say YES I AM SO EMOTIONAL. Especially IRRITABLE.

Hope all you January mamas are feeling well!

I just feel so angry and then cry loads. And easily irritated X how many weeks are you now kholl ? I'm 11 weeks tomorrow want to be Tri 2 now X

I'm 8+3 today, also can't wait for tri 2! I am just sooooo impatient and irritable, I feel awful for my kids especially. I just feel like a crabby mom, which does not feel good.

No I know the feeling, I'm like that a bit. The first pregnancy was easier as I had no one to look after but me. And now I have my little 4 year old to look after too and she knows I'm having a baby and it makes mummy feel Ill but still want to be fun mummy for her XX

Haha I'm not really knowledgeable - I had a UTI when I conceived and asked the doc the same thing. :)

I'm so emotional too. I cry over nothing and have a really short fuse! Not good when kids at school like to cause trouble. They think I've become really mean hahah. Also my sickness still has no sign of ending and I'm 11 weeks now *sigh* not fun.

I know I'm ok in mornings starts to get worse as day goes on and it's a feeling that just won't go away. Hopefully toward the 15th week x

I'm bad in the mornings, kind of ok around lunch times and after 3 it's hell!! When I vomit it's always at like 8:30pm. It's a feeling that never leaves for me too. At least we know baby is ok...
