******January 2019 Mummies******

Awww that’s really good winter wolf! I am also wondering if they will put me ahead again at my official twelve week scan as reading the report it just says approx 8 weeks and they only did a external ultrasound rather than internal I just can’t wait to have an official due date! Xx

WinterWolf- That is fantastic news! I am so happy to hear all is good! <3

Sarah- My appt is in a week's time as well.. Really looking forward to it!

Smor- At least you stopped smoking! And yes, sounds like a good couple weeks for you :/ hope all is okay <3

MrsBridge- Neither can I! Let the count down to 12 weeks begin! :D

Smor - feeling low is common when you give up smoking, and when your hormones are going nuts. It'll be alright. I'm proud that you've stopped smoking. :)

MrsBridge - They changed my due date to Jan 18th today but I'm also wondering if it'll change back after the 12 week scan. They wanted to do it at exactly 12 weeks 5 days so I've got that booked in for July 11. Exciting! How long until your scan?

Thanks Wheeldon :) hope your next appointment goes well x

Hi winterwolf my next scan is on 21st June where I could be 10+6 or 11+3 lol x

Hello

I think I'll be in here - I have a very, very estimated due date of 30th Jan - but I'll be having an c-section at 39 weeks.

I have two daughters E aged 3, and M aged 7 months. This was very much a surprise! I've no idea when my last period was :wall2:

Hopefully both have good luck then wheeldon. I am so scared and paranoid after 3 losses this was never going to be a relaxed time. I was screaming aloud in my dreams last night. Hope everyone feeling ok XX

MrsBridge not long to wait then! Good luck x

Welcome Mayflower and congratulations. I couldn't imagine being pregnant and having a 7 month old to look after! You'll be busy, that's for sure. At least your body JUST went through this so should know what to do.

Sarah you'll be ok. I know they say most losses happen in tri1 but most of those losses happen before 7 weeks. Once you can see a 7-8 week baby with a heartbeat your risk of a loss is just 2-4% :) so hopefully after your scan next week you'll be able to relax a bunch.

Hello Mayflower! Congratulations and welcome to our group! I have added you :D

Winterwolf- Thank you! The count down to the next appt has begun.. less than 7 days!

Sarah- this will be your first scan, right?

Hey ladies I hope we are all doing well and welcome to anyone new. Sorry for abandoning this thread somewhat but been having a real rough time with a further two hospital admissions for HG. Pregnancy is definately nothing like I anticipated. Have now been signed off work for a couple of weeks to rest and hopefully will be 4th time lucky with medication combo I have been given. On a plus note had our scan last week showed a happy bean with good heartbeat which they dated at 8 weeks so has been some relief even though I still worry all this sickness isn’t good for it. Today we are 8+6 and hopefully will get a date for my 12 week scan in the post soon

Hi flossy! Sorry to hear you are suffering with HG! I am 2 days behind you and have a scan date of 21st June hopefully you will get yours soon. X

Wheeldon yes It will be my first one so I'm very anxious, 6 days and counting X

Flossy I had HG with DD try the seabands also if not already, don't worry the bean is safe even when you have HG as long as you keep hydrated. Which the drips will help with

M will only be 14 months when this one arrives, which I'm slightly scared about!

I'm trying to think positively but I had a missed miscarriage at 7 weeks in between the two girls, so debating whether to book an early scan or not.

My sister and I are 14 months apart. We are like best friends! It seems like it would be a handful though haha.

I did an early scan because of my CP, I think it stressed me out more than anything (which is no good, obviously!) but good to see that there was at least a little bean in there.

Did you pay for it? Around here I'm looking at £95

I am not in the UK, I am in the States (technically)...I paid out of pocket for it since we are out of our insurance coverage area. I paid $135 and will have to pay $160 for my next one. Although this is cheap considering it would normally, in the States, be around $300+ without insurance just for the ultrasound plus whatever the actual appt costs were.

Its cool that you guys can just have a scan without a referral from a doctor. I don't have to pay out of pocket here in Australia, but there's no way to get an ultrasound/blood test etc. without a referral. I think the peace of mind my last scan gave me was worth 95 pounds though. I feel so much more excited about the pregnancy now that I know baby is alright.

My DP and I haven't been together that long and the poor man has had to cope with me having a freak out about:
