IVF query ??

Just wondering if anybody knows if IVF is offered to couples who have children from a previous marriage.

My husband has 3 children from a previous marriage but I havent any children, Would this be taken into account when considering IVF ???

Hiya Mushy,

It really depends on your Primary Care Trust (PCT).

The vast majority will not fund IVF if either partner has children from a previous relationship unfortunately but i'm fairly sure i was reading a lady's story who was eligible at her PCT so worth checking.

Just google "Wirral PCT assisted fertility guidelines" or something similar.

EDIT - just looked it up and you won't receive funding - sorry
