Hi Everyone
I am fairly new to this site and I was wondering if anyone wtt (I'm not too good with the abbreviations yet lol) has been in a similar situation.
I am having my implant taken out next month as me and DP have decided to try for a baby. This will be my 2nd. My DD was IUGR. At around 32 weeks my midwife noticed that she wasn't as big as she ought to be and referred me for a scan. At 34 weeks I had a scan and baby's heart was monitored and I had steroid injections. I had lost fluid at some point and by at the end of week 34 I noticed baby wasn't moving about as much. I went for another scan at 35 Weeks+0 and was told to wait and see the consultant, she explained that the placenta/umbilical cord wasn't producing enough oxygen and that baby was better out than in.
think I went into a state of shock at the time, I wasn't expecting that at all!! I was induced that day, and put on a drip as they thought I may need to have a CS. I had DD that evening and she weighed 3lb 3oz and went straight to SCBU. Thankfully, after just 3 weeks I could take her home. I was wondering if there is any chance this could happen again? I had a good pregnancy, no sickness and I looked after myself, I guess it was one of those things.
