Itchy Belly - Advice on creams....

Hi - During the last 2 weeks I have had a very itchy belly especially at night.

The MW said I would only need to worry if my hands and feet get itchy which they haven't and all routine tests have shown nothing is wrong so it's just normal pregancy itching due to the skin streching (It's coincided with a big increase in strech marks)

I am using stretch mark cream daily but wondered if anyone has found any creams that are safe to use that actually stop the belly itching as the stretch mark creams don't seem to help.

How about something really cooling and soothing like an Aloe Vera gel? Body Shop do a good one.

Or I love Dream Cream by Lush. It's an oat based cream with lots of essential oils (no nasties) and I was told it was safe in pregnancy. It's very calming on bothered skin

I had a really itchy belly at first. I use Avent cream that seems to stop it from itching, it comes back if i dont use it for a while.

When I suffered from this the first time around I used eurax cream and lotion which you can buy from the chemist and it worked really well.
