I thought that I had better start packing some bags as I havent done them yet.
Here is what I have packed for baby:-

8x cartons of formula ( sma gold 250ml in each)
4 bottles
20 nappies
1 pack of wipes
1 tub of sudocream

1 muslin cloth
2 bibs
1 cardigan
3x 0-3 short sleeve vests
3x tiny baby short sleeve vests
3x 0-3 long sleeve baby grows
3x tiny baby long sleeve baby grows
1 pair scratch mits ( baby grows have integral ones on )
snow suit- yes we have had a fair amount of snow today
going home outfit consisting of matching dress and leggings, tights and hat.
car seat
fluffy blanket

Is this ok? Have I forgotten anything? Im not planning on staying in hospital and will be trying to get out as soon as my legs will work again ( will be having an epidural ).

Fiance will be staying with me at all times so if needs be I can send my mum to the shops if she needs more clothes ( smaller ) as have a feeling she is going to be minute.

For me:-

dressing gown
2x pairs pyjamas
1x nightdress ( cheap, may not need it as may have hospital gown for epidural )
1x normal nightdress
slippers
5x pairs cheap, comfy knickers
1x pack maternity pads
1x pack dry nights pants ( yes I can fit in these :0 )
shower towel
hair towel
shower stuff and shampoo/ conditioner
hairbrush
clean clothes
cds
magazines
phone and charger
handbag.

I dont really know what else I will need.:oooo: Thanks guys.

Thanks guys, what type of snacks would you suggest? Im not really a snack person and am hardly eating at the minute but will probably take some apple juice with me.

I also dont wear flip flops but will get some grippy socks to take with me, that way it wont matter if I wear them in the shower as they can then dry on a radiator the rest of the time.

For baby a few more muslin clothes just in case of vomit or anything that needs cleaning up. Lip balm in case you use gas and air at any time as dries the lips. List is good though xx

Lol was going to say the same two things!!

Oh and maybe some flip flops for shower? And a hair Band for labour x

You shouldn't need to take any formula - the hospital that I am going to supply the formula for you in sterilised bottle and also the teat attachments- maybe check this with your midwife?

Maybe some magazines or something to read?

Nipple pads? Also do u have to take ur own baby milk our hospital provides the milk while ur there. X

My hospital wont supply formula as they are against bottle/ formula feeding so I already know that I have to take my own.
My hair will already be plaited and out the way as its more than halfway down my back and I wear it tied back anyway.
Probably a stupid question but why do I need nipple pads if I am formula feeding? Surely if they arent being touched I will dry off? They are already off limits and have had no leakage at all yet.

Ur nipples will still leak milk for a few weeks after birth until it all drys up and goe's ive never brest fed i always use formula and mine always leak after. X

Yep mine leaked like hell
