So we've come to a decision on a name for our little boy after months of head bashing!

Its Torin George - what do you all think of that - just want an outside opinion.

I've been wandering aroudn the house saying his name out loud to see if I could live with shouting it in a supermarket!

I like it :) :)
we've picked an unusual but not weird name and only way to get used to it is repeating it aloud and writing it down xxx

I know...I'm just so worried that people will think our choice is too different.
My best friends little boy is called Arthur and it really suits him :) xx

Dont worry what others think and dont follow trends, be different in your own very way :)) xx

I said to Hubby last night are you sure about it and now he's going back on the decision. He says its such a hard decision to make.....typical bloke just as I was starting to think it was perfect! :)

i will advise you this, stop thinking about any names yet as you will go off them all, we only piced one at 35wks as the ones we liked we said over and over and then we was like nah they dont sound right, then i fell for the name Arthur, and it felt so perfect i knew it was the name xx

There is a torin (or torren - not sure of spelling) at my nephews school. At first I thought it was unusual but now I really like it :-) and George goes well (and it's my dads name so I love it!)

You're the first person to say that they have heard the name on someone's little boy :) Nice to know that there are some Torin's out there!

George is after my grandad...nice to keep things in the family :)
xx

the only time i have heard the name torren was in stargate atlantis and i love the name its not strange and its not a name that u wud immediately think of being picked on. its a good strong name if u like it then it doesnt matter what others think as they will have no choice but to get used to it and like it lol
