My MW when I was expecting my first was the same and I had no family nearby and hubby was on tour (army) so I felt so isolated and unsure what I was doing and whether everything was ok. She didn't even bother letting me know that when my BP went to 180/100 I should go to the hospital just told me it was high and to rest Don't put up with it hun you shouldn't have to change your doctors if another mw doesn't cover your docs surgery then if you have made a complaint they should get a mw to come to see you or arrnage for you to go to another nearby docs purely for your mw appt.

i agree with mik you need to make a complaint don't change ur docs just because she has no people skills and she calls herself a midwife

She sounds like a right moo tbh! As Lea said, why, oh WHY do these people become midwives?
I understand that they might be overstretched, very tired, but it doesn't cost that much to ask a few questions and give a smile or two
