Ok I'm baffled, confused etc.
Layla has been fine for a while with her poop. I've begun to see changes in it which are perfectly normal through the transition from breastmilk to formula etc etc until last night.
Before bed, I changed her and there was a suprisingly "smallish" but "hard" poop??? I say hard, but in terms of baby poop - this was more like an oval shaped pebble type? It's difficult to explain but I hope I'm making sense?
She also had a bigger one this morning? It has also lost the mustard-y type colouring and gone sort of two-tone in colour medium/dark brown.
Is this normal? She does strain a little bit, but not in the sense of it causing her pain or anything.
I am "weaning" her in the sense that she is having baby porridge in the morning mixed with 2-3oz milk and then for lunch, and dinner she will have either tastes of jar baby veggies or home steamed veggies (which i've ice-cubed and frozen). However, it was her first try last night of some swede - she had 2 small ice-cubes of that (about 2 teaspoons worth). She also has the Tesco Value fromage frais pots - 1 or 2 a day.
Any ideas? xx
