Is Callie too much of a dog's name?

Me and DH have had such a hard time trying to agree on a name, thought we'd nailed it with Callie but over the past few days it's been cropping up left right and centre as dog's names!

I don't really want her to have the same name as all of her friends family dogs lol xD

Would you worry about it? Am I just being overly sensitive maybe?

I think it's a lovely name! I'm a dog groomer so have met literally hundreds of dogs and haven't come across one called Callie.

I wouldn't think of it as a dogs name at all. Makes me think of callie from greys anatomy (which is a good thing). Lovely name x

The year I had my little boy his name appeared on crufts 3 times!! Never thought Theo was so popular amongst the doggy population! Haha..

I know a little girl called Callie who is absolutely gorgeous. I also know a dog called Callie lol. But when I hear the name I associate it with the little girl, not the dog iykwim??

Callie was on my list but we had a boy so never got to use it!

It's lovely! I used to work with a Cally...her real name is Carol and Cally was more of a nickname. She never ever went by Carol though.
I haven't heard of it as a dog's name...are you thinking of collie as in border collie??

Ive met a turtle, a parrot and a border collie with the same name as me and im not bothered in the slightest!

Never come across a dog called callie, I like that name it's like the dr in greys anatomy
