Irregular Cycles

Anyone else have irregular cycles that seem to be getting worse, not better?

These have been the lengths of mine since I came off birth control in January:

24 days
27 days
19 days
22 days
30 days
25 days
23 days
27 days
34 days
52 days
Currently on CD37...

I feel like they've been getting worse instead of better though.... and i'm wondering if there is something wrong with me.

The doctor told me to wait until AF arrives and then on CD21 they'll do a blood test. I had a vaginal swab for STds etc. that came back negative. I had a PCOS blood test years ago that was negative but I do wonder if I maybe have that.

Anyone else?

When I stopped my pill before my first they went 30 days for a few cycles then it was like 23, 40 days then down to 17 days. I do have pcos. Maybe ask for a scan? xx

I was worrying in the exact same way. My cycles were getting longer every month cuz they were like 30,30,31,32,33,33,37 and then I was on day 47 and no sign. I bought agnus castus to help regulate it and was about to start using it and I'd researched about diet for hormone imbalance cuz I know my thyroid stuff is fine as I had a recent test. I was really really worried something was wrong but then I got my bfp even with the irregular cycles and random bleeds xx

They could do a scan for PCOS. Sounds like your hormones might be a bit out of whack.

Hi hun, defo ask your GP for an ultrasound referral! My periods were getting more and more irregular so went for bloods and came back neg for PCOS, I also have none of the symptoms/side effects typical of PCOS so they were going to rule it out. I went for an ultrasound just to be sure and they did indeed see that I had polycystic ovaries so definitely worth getting it checked out just in case I heard any cycle length up to 35 days is still considered 'normal' so you probably don't need to worry too much, it's quite normal to be a bit irregular for a year or so after you come off birth control x
