I went to Ireland on friday morning whilst pregnant which was not a good idea.

3 hours in to the boat journey i was on deck and cabhan decided he doesn't like boats and I threw up everywhere but whilst throwing up my nose started pouring with blood (I mean like a tap) OH thought I was throwing up blood and became really worried.

then on saturday I had another one but this time this one was even worse I was in the bathroom having a wash (with a flannel) and it started again but this time even worse it lasted half an hour I had OH's auntie holding a cold flannel at the top of my nose and one on the back of my kneck near the main blood vessel.

when it had finally finished I had a HUGE clot in my nose which I was told not to pull out as it would set the bleeding off again, anyhoo I pullled it out anyway and the clot was massive, I put it down the toilet and it ROLLED off the flannel.

also, I have really bad leg pains I cannot move my legs and have had to start walking with a waddle because it's causing too much pain to handle.

what could this be does anyone know? is it worth paying my GP a visit

This happens me when I'm being sick some mornings but I think it's just cos I'm usually bent over the toilet and the pressure of being sick sets off the bleed. I do have a very sensitive nose though and was prone to nose bleeds anyway. They can also be common in pregnancy but def say to your gp if you're worried xxxx

If theyre more of a concern then normal then i would either see midwife or gp x

I suffer from nosebleeds as a rule but have had a few stinkers since brin pregnant usually after throwing up or bending down. It's because ofthe extra blood flow and pressure. Clots are normal that's your nose starting to heal.

When u get the you need to pinch really hard for at least 5 mins without stoppin (not even to see if it's stopping) its annoying but it will stop sooner x

If you are still worried mention it to the mw or see your gp xx
