i know you can go off foods you previously liked during pregnancy, but can you actually develop an intolerance to them?

i went off cheese in the first trimester, i used to LOVE cheese, but anyone even mentioned it and i would throw up!!

it seems that the last few months, i am able to eat cheese without feeling sick, like on pizza or in a sandwich, but it gives me such a bad stomach, really, really awful pain.

i am pretty sure its cheese that is doing it! but can you just develop an intolerance to food like that?

I know a few people who's gallstones flared up as a result of pregnancy. And I think gallstones are connected to dairy food. Might be completely off track here but it coul be worth mentioning the pain (specifically how sore and where it is) to your midwife incase it is linked to gallbladder/gallstones. It can get very sore. My
Mum and Aunty manage there's with a bit of diet control (ie easy on the dairy!!)
I don't know what I'd do if I couldn't eat cheese!!!!! Hope it gets better for you honey xx

I can and do eat loads of cheese but since iv been pregnant I can't eat potatoes!!! And I mean in any form. They make me soooo sick!! Strange or what!

I was like that with cheese but it came back in mid tri 2, now the more cheese the better!! Xx

When I was pg with my ds I couldn't drink milk (except in tea) but on cereal or as a milkshake I would bring it all back up! This time though I'm fine!

Its probably possible.

I have an intolerance to dairy normally, but I've actually been fine with it since getting pregnant. So if my intolerance can disappear, I'm sure u can develop one :) x
