I updated in my journal on fri but forgot to post here so I'll copy it from journal

Well jus had the scan - woman was nice x
Explained everything she was doing x
So ....
Indicates PCOS! But still clinical decision do have to wait to see gp when she gets the results x
but feeling ok x

Had a weekend away with hubby chatted and relaxed about the whole thing can't do anythin until see gp so no point stressing yet x
Hopefully she gives me meds to sort it and that will do the trick well fingers crossed anyways x x

Sorry the scan didn't bring you better news, if your lucky your pcos will be mild and won't cause you to many issues. I am a bit of a pcos guru so if you have any questions hun feel free to ask me xxx

Don't lose hope at all cos of PCOS, my ovaries were full of cycsts, and now look!!

She said my ovaries were full of immature follicles - my right had 1 developing measure 20 something indicating I am ovulating but depends how big it gets in time??!!
So don't know need to wait to see what gp makes of it x

20mm is a good size follicle hun should mean you ovulate soon. It's the small ones that cause all the trouble as they prevent the eggs from releasing from the ovaries. They may do ovarian drilling straight away which is basically a hot stick that burns lots of holes in your ovaries allowing the eggs somewhere to release from, if you search it on you tube you can actually see how it is done. Or they may try you on clomid first like me, the side effects aren't great but if it works ......

You will most likely be referred to a specialist hun, although some gp's can prescribe clomid. When you get your results def ask about a referral as I had to wait 10 weeks for my appt xx

I think 10 weeks is quite a long time, other ladies didn't have to wait as long so hopefully you will be ok xx

gona do some reasearch tonight - i start nights tonight booooooo 4 nights so hopefully will get 1 reasonably quiet 1 and can look into all the treatments and side effects etc x x

Gp said it could take 2wks for her to get the results so jus waiting x

I'm on nights so woke up to few missed calls from gp surgery
Phoned them back and am going in on sat to spk to my gp - hopefully shell have a plan for us x
