Something hiding in there??

Hey Girls

Something has been bugging me and I was wondering what you think .... basically I went for a ultrasound on the 2nd, it was suppose to be a normal pelvic scan but as my bladder wasnt full enough she gave me the option of having an internal instead (transvaginal) which I was happy to have (it didnt hurt just in case any of you have one booked).

So any do's after she done her thing and I was getting dressed she said .. "Well there is no large cyst....... and that was it!!!

I wanted to say to her.... well is there a small one then ?? or does that mean all is well ?? did you see anything ??

I knew that she wouldnt tell me anything as they are not allowed plus she seemed very clinical and a little bit scary if I am honest .... so I have to wait until I see my gp for the results, but you know when it just seemed like there was a "but" at the end of a sentance... if that makes sense

What do you think ... was it a reassuring dont worry your all ok .... or yes I did see something!!

How annoying of her to leave you hanging like that.

Can you not ring the docs and see if they'll tell you sooner?

If not, when will you get them?

No have to wait 10 days for the results to be sent to my doctor so won't know anything until next thursday which is really annoying grrr!!!

vicky its gonna be a long wait but try and think of it like this..

if there is something there i would say its not as bad as a large cyst..so in other words at the very least you can be sure that it's not the worst thing they were looking for, because she told you that much. i think there probably isn't anything there and she just had a bad manner!> xx

Kezza it is going to be a long wait so its great that I have you girls to keep me going and stopping me going insane waiting!! Positivity you are probably right guess I will find out next week .... Who knows it could be good news for a change x x

Aww Hun,

Try not to worry, it was like that when I had mine, I think I actually started crying because she didn't say anything, I thought it was because there was something wrong and she was trying to hide it, but I think they aren't allowed to give a diagnosis, just report back to the doctor.

Try not to worry, the weekend will fly by and then you'll only have 3 sleeps til Thursday!

I think it was a positive everythings ok. I had a lump in my neck some time ago and it was a blocked gland but it came back and I thought the worst. My Dr sent me for an ultra sound on my neck and said she couldnt feel anything but it was best to check it. She worried me to death not being specific and I made myself worse panicking. When I went for the scan, the nurse said, well you have lumps at both sides and rather large natural glands and the infection you had just left your body fighting to get rid of it but you are absolutely fine. Panic over. Please try not to worry till you see your GP. HUGS X
