This is an English translation of a Dutch book my sister in law lent me. I've been reading through it for a while though I've since bought the english version as it's far less effort for me to read
It's just a bit different to all the other baby books I've read. It's about baby's development in terms of growth spurts and how after a period of fuss they come out the other end doing something new. It has a few suggestions what to do (and what not to do) during a growth spurt which is quite helpful (apart from the bleeding obvious things it suggests such as "don't shake your baby") and when (roughly) to expect them. I've really enjoyed it and at times it's been like reading a book written about my daughter which has been quite reassuring.
