I'm currently reading "The Face" by Dean Koontz, it's pretty good.
The last book I read was the new Stephen King book "Cell" which I really enjoyed.

OH bought me "The Davinci Code" yesterday, can't wait to get started.

Any more readers here?

i no i sound like a sicko but i love reading books about child abuse ect, they are so upseting and i live my happy lil family life and reading these books really make me realise some of the nasty sick people in the world, just finished reading 'boy called it'

Dionne i've just finished reading the book by A Boy Called It's brother. Its even sadder! :(

I've just read the one about child abuse by Martine McCutcheons mum. It's shocking! Cant remember the name though i've just leant it to my mate.

Reading Popcorn at the moment by Ben Elton- weird choice i know but it's quite good :D

I'm a readaholic. I can't physically get to sleep now unless I read something - I think coz my body is so used to it now! Anyway, just read all the Lemony Snicket 'Series of unfortunate events' - they were really good just have to wait for the final book 13 to come out now to finish the story.

I'm reading a book called 'I'm dancing as fast as I can' about a woman with a drug problem and before that I read 'H' story of a child prostitute and heroin addict. I too, love books about drugs and abuse - I don't know why and reading what I've just typed, I must sound a bit sick!

I own and have read approx 85% of all Stephen King books but not the new one 'Cell' yet. Urchin, would you recommend it?

i'm reading memoirs of a geisha buy arther golden. Good so far - very different.

Just finished "Karoo Boy" by Troy Blacklaws. The best book I have read in a while! Just got the next book... "Blood Orange".

AND, an excellent book to read if you have kids and work is....
"I don't know how she does it" by Alison Clarke (I think). A great read full of bits that'll remind you of yourselves. Good laugh yet very "real-life".

We're having perfect weather today to stay in bed and read!

ooh is the second Frankenstein book out now? will be on amazon later then. the first one was great, i love the original and the monsters character is very true to the orignal book.

Yeah I've read it it's really good just as good as the first.

Cell by King is also very good, although a little bit similar to "The Stand" which I loved so I didn't mind.

I've read everything by King except the dark tower stuff, he's my favourite.

my fave s king is insomnia - just love it such a cool story but very sad.

have you read odd thomas by koontz - thats brilliant.

have recently read Anne franks diary, and Zlatas diary.
Have now started reading Imperfectly natural woman - not a story but now to introduce a greener lifestyle and get away from every day chemicals and toxins. Its very eye opening to see what chemicals we subject out selves to.

I'm reading Truman Capote's 'In cold blood' at the moment but its quite heavy going.

Think i'm going to re-read 'Generation X' by Douglas Coupland on my holiday next week, he's one of my favourite authors.

Was going to read the Da Vinci Code but a bit put off now i've heard the endings supposed to be disappointing.

I love thrillers and crime. I just reread Entwined by Lynda La Plant. I love Martina Cole, her books are always set in London and I love books that are set in places I know.

One of my favourite books of all is Man and Boy by Tony Parsons. I don't know anyone that didn't like it, you can just feel the emotion in that book. Its a great one for men to read, as good as them watching Fatal attraction

I'd hate to sell my books, I've got loads too I want a huge bookself for them all but at the moment they're in the loft and the top of the wardrobe.

'Harry Potter And The Order Of The Pheonix'

also read 'A boy called it too'. I used to enjoy reading books on serial killer, infamous killers etc as I just can't comprehend killing and abuse etc.
