Interesting article - Antioxidants may help men with fertility problems

Very interesting read, what antioxidents are best to take tho? Does anyone know? I may try and get my man onto some xxx

My DH started taking Pycnogenol (a super powerful anti-oxidant tree bark extract), and after 3 months had a 600% (!!!!) increase in sperm count.
Morphology and motility also showed MASSIVE improvements too.
He's always been a healthy eater, and doesn't smoke, so we are both pretty amazed that a supplement could have this effect.

More info here:

He also stopped putting his mobile phone in his front trouser pocket (you never know what damage that radiation does!), and cut out coffee (including decaf), and switched to decaf tea. So maybe it was a combination of everything.

Xx

Good read :)

I wonder though because it mentioned the antioxidants had zinc, magnesium and ... the other one in them but my hubby also gets those in his Wellman vitemins - so are the antioxidants simply acting as a source for these vitemins or are the people in the trial already taking these vitemins and then in addition using the antioxidants so something else in them in causing the improvement?

If that makes sense :eh:
