Injection to deliver placenta?

I definatly had the tablet up the bum i remember her saying what she was going to do and i said 'they dont tell you that in the pregnancy books!' i was still on gas and air so a bit out of it, but i didnt get any pain from the stiches or going to the toilet until later the next day so it must be good stuff!

I had a tablet up bum to, dont know what it was. But was good stuff cause I was painless doing toilet and no pain down there at all, and I had a tear.
It was all done roughly same time, and she had to check my bum for a tear.xxx

I had the injection and the doctor pressed on my belly a couple times n i felt it pass, was so quick and easy. I also asked to look at it n refused the tablet up the bum lol xx

I asked my dh and he said he saw the placenta - i didnt know he had! He said it didnt bother him which shocked me as he hates blood and surgery etc on tv (for some reason he doesnt like it with real people by doctors but when its a horror movie its fine :S:S) xx

i lost so much blood i didnt have a choice...they had to get it out asap....I am pretty sure i had the injection for them to do this but there were so many people and so many needles by this point....I didnt even notice! x
