Indegestion

Hi ladies.

Just wondered if ayone else has experienced terrible indegestion within their pregnancy before? i never had and then last night i over ate and drank loads of fizzy drinks, and ever since, so all night last night, all of today, and still now, i have the most awful uncomfortable / painful very high tummy ache

any advice or comments appreciated. feel so irritable because of it and have just sat and cried

I have already had to hit the gaviscon...
... try cold milk maybe, or mint tea

does yours feel like a terrible high up tummy ache in the middle between the top of your ribs?? im guessing its indigestion but becasue i have never had it before im not sure? x

yeah, it is a cross between nausea and feeling too full and gassy, just plain hot water may help too, not sure about the green tea but it is worth a try...

yeah feel too full and gassy and like its all trapped in the wrong area too high up! its lasting soo long.
just made a green tea so fingers crossed. Roll on 2nd trimester i say x

Green tea is quite high in caffeine Hope - not a lot of people realise this. I would get some peppermint tea, its brilliant for everything gastric and for helping digestion. Hope you feel better soon xx

I drank gaviscon all the way thou, to the extent that I had a bottle in my handbag and just use to swing from it. My mum did offer me a brown paper bag to put it in

Yeah I can imagine, I get reflux anyway, so I always have gaviscon in my handbag, I've just been suffering recently cos I thought I had to cut out all medication! Im so thrilled now, I'll join your brown paper bag club!

a few weeks ago i kept gettin terrible heart burn. i asked in boots if gaviscon was ok, they sed it was fine. after all we need something to help us through these annoying times ay
