I'm 4+3 days and I was feeling quite rough, sort of hung over from last Saturday, which was my first inkling that I might be pregnant. I took a digital test last wednesday which came up with 2-3 weeks so that was reassuring, but the last two days all my symptoms seem to have disappeared except for heavy tender boobs. I'm also feeling some cramps today, no spotting or bleeding though.

I'm concerned my hormone levels aren't increasing as they should and I'm losing the pregnancy, shouldn't my symptoms be getting worse at this stage? Did any of you pregnant ladies experience a decrease in symptoms this early?

Thanks

I wouldn't worry yourself too much about it. I had stabbing boob pains before my bfp, I knew I was pregnant as soon as I had those because it is the first thing I get after ovulation when I've caught.

I didn't get any further symptoms really until 6 weeks plus. And cramps are totally normal. It's hard to read into all of these things but they won't necessarily mean a bad thing. I distinctly remember being sat in the hairdressers a week or so after my bfp almost in tears because I thought my test was marginally lighter than the day before and I thought it wasn't going to work out. I'm now coming up 18 weeks this week so it was clearly me being neurotic!

Thank you for your reassurance, just so nervous about my first pregnancy xxx

Unfortunately, it's hard to know either way in tri one whether it's going to work out or not! It's a complete minefield and you will have people who have signs it's not working out to go on and have babies and people with symptoms etc have miscarriages. I don't say that to frighten you btw, just to say that the symptom thing isn't a good indicator of the pregnancy progressing or not.

Keep faith. You've done the hard bit, the odds are most definitely in your favour now. Keep yourself busy for the next few weeks and look after yourself and trust that your body is doing its thing xxx
