Improve sperm count

Hiya girls my hubby has a sperm count of 13.5 million so pretty low I have him on Pregnacare conception and royal jelly but is there anything better he could be taking to get it higher quicker it's only gone from 12.5 to 13.5 in a year any advice greatly appreciated by both of us x

Hi there we are considering trying foresight for my hubby's sperm issues. They basically analyse your hair and prescribe a concoction of vitamins etc based on your individual deficiencies. They also provide lifestyle advice to help with conception. We were a bit sceptical but it has worked for friends of ours so we thought it would be worth a try! Best of luck xx

My OH has been on the wellman conception and has worked wonders. He has also been taking vit d cos he was deficient in this and that can cause sperm issues so that could be a factor in the improvement too. Other than that I am not sure on anything else but am sure other ladies will come along with some suggestions x

I'm not sure if it actually helped us or if we were just super lucky, but we had lots of sperm problems; low count, 97% abnormal, 40% motility, so in the summer hubby started taking the wellman tablets plus extra zinc supplements, and he also stopped drinking altogether in July (even though he only ever had a few beers at home at the weekend) and we conceived naturally at the end of August, getting the bfp in September just before our first IVF appointment Worth a shot I'd say! x

Oh hopefully Pregnacare conception is just as good as well man then fxd, he has been on that for about 6 weeks now and I was giving him extra zinc but then I read somewhere it can be harmful so I stopped him taking extra but he is gonna start taking it again taking it now as I speak lol , gonna wait until after Xmas now then go for another soerm test and pray it's gone up ! Thsnx for your help ladies if it at all works I'll be sure to post screaming bfp lol x

I think the foresight programme is quite expensive - have a look online, they have practitioners all round the country. We're waiting for hubby's 2nd SA next week and he has been on pregnacare conception since the previous test so will see if its made any difference. Hopefully it has!! X

Ye we are waiting till after Xmas now to do another count then go from there x

Just had another sperm test done and it's gone up to 54 million , fair to say me and the hubby are feeling like Christmas come early
