Hi all,

I’m new to all this as we have only been trying since April and for the last 3 weeks of April I was on the pill that delays your period begins with an N. Long and short of it I’ve had 2 periods now since stopping taking it, my last one being the week before last running into the beginning of last week. I’m pretty sure I’ve had implantation today as I’m not due my next period till the beginning of July. I have a picture which is pretty graphic and I don’t know how to upload but just wanted people’s opinions on wether it could be implantation. ThankYou

Unless you ovulated ON your period (which is incredibly unlikely) you're not experiencing implantation. Any bleeding you're experiencing is probably caused by ovulation or by irritation of your cervix. You should ovulate about two weeks after your period starts. The few days before/after ovulation is the only time when you can get pregnant so if I were you I'd be dtd around now.

It feels like another period like cramping too. The pill I took totally messed my cycle up too

Hmm, well if its heavy bleeding it is possible your cycle is super messed up and you're having another period!

It’s stopped now, I’m very confused. Haha it was only a little bit wasn’t heavy

So it could be that you're ovulating? some people get a pinching type sensation, with blood spotting. Basically the follicle has to rupture, so it can cause some spotting.

Yeah, if the bleeding was light I'd go with what I said earlier. Many women have cramps with ovulation. Spotting can happen when you ovulate from time to time and that's alright. Get it checked out if you're regularly spotting at ovulation though as it can be a sign of a hormone imbalance. If it's a one off it'll be nothing to worry about though. Good luck for this cycle x

Were you taking norethisterone? Because that causes all kinds of havoc with your cycles / symptoms x

I would let it all settle for a couple of weeks and if things are still odd and you are having days on and off spotting or bleeding go have a chat with your gp:)

Yeah that’s the one. I stopped taking that beginning of May though and I’ve had 2 periods in that time all in 28-31 days cycle so that was pretty normal bar the last one where I was 2 days late

To put pics up hun go on go advanced and click on the paper clip image :-) xx
