Implant?

My midwife asked me on Thursday if I would be interested in getting the implant. I said I was as I was planning to get it done before I found out I was pregnant and she told me they could fit it before I leave the hospital when I have the baby. I thought I would have to wait a few weeks after giving birth before I could get it. Has anyone else been offered this??

I haven't, but then you're further along than me so maybe it'll be mentioned at my next appointment?

Not that I'll need it being single and all lol

You think I want to go near a MAN when it was a MAN that got me in this condition in the first place?! ........... Yes please lol

Oh and by the way, my Mum's friend's daughter has the implant She moves it around in her arm!!! x

i dont know if you have had it before, but i did for 3years and it was blooming brilliant! i didn't have a period for 3years and when i had it removed i concieved within 2months! it was great! the apllicator that they use to insert it looks...... horrendious, but it is fine, it does not hurt at all, and i have a tiny scar the size of a pin prick! i think that they inserted mine when i was actually on my period,or its usually just before (dont quote me on it) becuase they want to to it asap to ensure that you are not pregnant when they put it in!

I'd defo go for it. they are great and hassle free! and unlike some other contraceptives, i didnt gain 1once of weight from it! yay!
