We made elderflower cordial today, but because it takes forever to infuse I'm only getting round to simmering it with sugar now.

It's been sitting there for the last half hour...I was on the phone then remembered & went into check it...the cordial was cold but there was a very strange smell of garlic in the air. I'd turned the gril on and was grilling a piece of trapped garlic

It's sleep depravation, honestly

oh no it's worse, especially in the summer holidays when i'm not being educated, therefore there's nonone around to make me remember things

aww bless u lol! im always doing stuff like that too iv lost count of the number of times iv poured cold water into my teacup coz i'd filled the kettle and forgotten to boil it! oh and another thing iv done plenty of times is pour the milk in, stir it and wonder why theres no colour coming into it i think "that just looks like milky water!" only to realise that it IS milky water, iv forgotten the teabag

I once made myself a cup of tea and put the milk in the cupboard under the sink. well, it is the same colour as bleach...

And I once put a silverside in the bread bin....

hehe my aunt is the best at silly things

She had guest round for a meal and went into the oven to take the roast out and it was empty.... she'd but it back in the cupboard where the roasting tin stays.

At lambing time, in her utility room she has her bucket of the powdered lamb milk and a bucket of coal for the fire.... yup you guessed it, she threw the lamb milk powder on to her open fire!

Then the last is when answer machines were new, she called the doctors before they were open and said "Hello, I know you are a machine... but can you hear me?"
