I am a regular On this board and I enjoyed the advise from Everyone. As long as I got advice from someone it didn't matter if they had a ticker or not.

I am proud of my ticker and I want to show it off because it means alot to me.

I also found it inspiring to see tickers ready for when I get my sticky.

Easy peasy solution, is just to turn them off in your USER CP :)

I think we should respect everyones advice whether they are WTT, TTC, PG, Mum or have experienced loss. I can understand in one way that it is hard to see possibly, which is why if you find it offensive/upsetting then the best solution is to turn sigs off, but then you also turn TTC tickers off too so can't communicate with your cycle buddies :eh:

I can honestly say from reading hundreds of posts a day I haven't seen many replies to be insensitive and of course if you find that there are any there's always the 'report post' option :)

I've just unticked the box thst says show your signature, so thst solves that one.

Shame, it's kinda put me off posting in ttc, no probs though!

I quite like giving as much advice as ican as I thought when you post a thread, you post it to get answers and support, which confuses me as to why they would cause offence.

Meh.

I will continue posting in TTC.....sorry if my ticker does offend anyone though! It just shows it can be done, x

i keep avoiding TTC threads now :( i keep wanting to post but i dont want to offend :(

Post, post and post!! This is making me seem nasty but I'm not trying to be and now I feel I need to explain myself :dohh: We're a friendly community so get posting chick xx

thing is tho vix, i love pf and we're such a friendly lot! i just dont want others to miss out on it and id hate to think iwas putting people off :(

I know hun  I feel a bit odd posting in this section now too :dohh: Thought I was helping but never mind, xx

I think I have a right to comment on this one, because I do believe I am the longest for TTC! 4 years now and I do not have a problem with the pregnancy tickers being on here and I don't think you pregnant ladies should take them off neither...you should be proud you have a little one on the way...

As far as the thread, I think it's good pregnant ladies and ladies with children give us some advice, I certainly have had some good advice and made some good friends. When I do eventually concieve I will still continue to come onto the forum to give advice etc....

As far as I say if you don't like it lump it! Sorry for being harsh, but this is a public forum and people can do what they want, including yourself in creating this thread (in which is your choice and I do not have anything against)

All I can say is good luck to all TTC and best wishes to every lady pregnant!

Donna xx

I undersatnad the OP's point of view but at the end of the day people TTC need sound advice from people who have been there, done that and eventually got the t-shit (so to speak) Not everyone feels this way ladies so we should feel free to give advice and encouragement where we feel it is needed. I might have 3 kids but with 84 day cycles and an underactive thyroid it wasn't easy. Spread the love i say xx

Thanks hunni

I just feel I have a right to comment, because of how long I have been TTC and plus i like it here

i hope no-one gets put off from posting. All comments are appreciated. And i know that all you mummies are just on here to help everyone and pass on the wisdom. i just hope i can do that one day too.

I got the bloody witch today so anything to cheer me up is needed (they dont call Friday the 13th unlucky for no reason do they?!)
xx
