Hey, I'm new here. I'm 29 and I already have 3 beautiful boys, they are 8,4 & 1
I had the depo for the first time 3 months ago and we have now agreed (finally) to discuss no4(my last one apparently).
I have heard so many stories about how it can take up to 2 years for the depo to leave your system, the main reason I decided against having another injection.
I'm hoping some of you may have some positive stories of coming off it haha
Does anone know how it works after, once you have had a couple of regular periods is that your baby making back in action?
I am excited to get pregnant again :)

Hi and welcome to the forum.

I was on the injection many years ago and actually conceived whilst on it. Pregnancy only lasted until 14 weeks, so I would give yourself some time and maybe chart your ovulation so that you know when it becomes regular.

Very best of luck for Number 4 xxx

Hey, it took around 2 years for the depo to come out my system and get periods again, but every one is different and with you only having one shot of it I doubt it would take long to leave your system, good luck xx
