watching this morning some woman killed her disabled daughter by holding her head under the bath water for TEN MINUTES while she struggled

i kno i cant begin to understand how it is to cope with disability but still this is so so upsetting especially when u see her little face poor little girl

i read this too, the woman was a depressed alcoholic who couldnt cope :(

the poor dad, hes devastated

R.I.P little Naomi

Been reading about this the last few days. She drove around drunk for hours with her dead daughter in the back, even stopping for more wine.
RIP lil one

I haven't seen or read it but its so hard to think of what to say in reply :( Its a sad situation and terrible that she done that instead of looking at other options and asking for help but as I don't know what happened I don't know if she did do that :(

I have been following this story too, who knows what state of mind that woman must have been in to do such a thing.
Its very sad. RIP Naomi xxx

OMG thats horrific, I ahvent seen anything either, is there anything on the net about it?

I read this story and wish I hadn't  also the guy who killed his two little daughters.

PND is a strange thing, I suspect that woman was suffering.

The story about the dad is awful he actually rang the kids mum and said "i've put the kids to sleep..forever" and laughed!

I think its disgusting. Mild cerebral palsy and having to wear callipers isn't a disability its a disadvantage :talkhand: Everyone whos kids wears thick glasses should do the same then  Doesn't sound like she had PND to me more than she was a selfish alcoholic.

As for the father who killed his two daughters... he was just plain evil. I don't believe in hell but in these cases I wish I did. :shakehead:

I feel so sorry for the other parents in these cases. Imagine loosing a child to someone you are supposed to be able to trust with your children. :(

Its ok Squig, I do :x

Seeing that little girls sweet little face on the news was so devastating.. she was beautiful, absolutely beautiful.. she should have been loved and cared for.. the news said the mother was "ashamed" of her disability.. I cant even describe how sick I feel hearing this story. Don't want to say anymore :(

Sounds like the woman is really ill to me. And she had asked for the girl to be adopted, which was some way of asking for help :(

It's such a tragedy, that poor little girl

Yeah. It didn't have to happen. Poor kid

As for the dad who killed his two girls......There seems to be a few cases of that recently. And it REALLY pees me off. The sort of person who takes their parner's rejection out on their children...just...ugh

I cant look at that little face and imagine what SHE went through, im sure the mum was under a huge amount of pressure but it takes one in a million people to do what she did to her little girl, iv gotta agree with squig !

Just reread the article and she tried to convince her husband to have her adopted, so if she couldnt dope why not leave her husband and daughter rather than do that ?
Just glad reading it that her dad seemed to really love her and wasnt ashamed of her like her mum was !

“It has been said in court that Naomi suffered from cerebral palsy. This is not true; she did not suffer at all. She lived life to the full and was an inspiration to us all.

“Naomi took everything in her stride and enjoyed everything. She was my constant companion; she was my best friend. She was my little princess.”

I don't know the ins and outs of the story so can't comment on the mother, all I know is that PND made me behave in ways I never thought I would.

There have been loads of stories about men killing their children. I just can't imagine hating anyoe enough to even think about hurting my children.

I had heard the same as Minxy, that the mother had asked for help and said she couldn't cope and that she asked the Dad about adoption the day before. Who's to know what's gone through someone's mind when things like this happen, it's scary though.

RIP Little One and my thoughts go out to her Dad
