Well sitting here feeling like a prize turnip just now. My mum was saying to me today that asda were doing good deals on nappies and i should buy some in each couple of months just to spread the cost a little. So i thought yeah good idea.

Anyway when i went to checkout the woman asked straight away oh have you just had a baby? For some bizarre reason i wasn't ready for the question and just blurted out yes! I thought i would have sounded silly saying no i just like buying newborn baby nappies.

Well talk about 20 questions afterwards, i wanted the ground to open up and swallow me, i think i nearly ran out the store. I just know i'm gonna see that checkout lady again

My friend was once out wen an old friend asked her if she was pg again,she said yes just to explain the excess weight...unfortunately some1 dropped her in it a few weeks later lol xxx

lol.... i did that when i was having my 3rd and the woman was asking how old my little boy was and didn't i think newborn nappies would be too small for him, me being daft then ended up buying nappies for my little boy and going to the next shop down the road to buy newborn ones for baby.......my dh doesn't see the point of buying nappies in yet and i'm 27 weeks in the morning!!! so when i do the shopping on tuesday i'll have to hide the nappies in my car until he goes to work.

But, if you've just had a baby , would you be in the shop without him/her...?!! I think it's really sensible to stock up, got all my vouchers ready in my wallet, lol!

I have been stocking up on nappies too, I have used some of my vouchers and free ones, and now have 11 packs, all in a sturdy bag, but storing them is a pain, till I work out where baby's stuff is going!, just don't want to leave it till next year too much

Hahaha!! I got something asked me the other day I well confused them least you stuck with your answer I can't remember what I got asked but the answer was no lol they got (coz I was half asleep pregnancy brain and all) yep -pause- definatally not yep yep I wouldn't not now -they looked displeased- unless I would but no

I can't even remember what it was I think someone asked me if I wanted a glass of cola haha so you can tell why they were a bit like WTF over my answer haha it was either a glass of cola or a biscuit lol!!!
I've stocked up a little got 8 packs of newborn nappies so that's like 16 days worth at least x

i got mine out of my bounty pack, then got more after i had subscribed to various clubs, mothercare, boots, etc etc and then have ended up with millions from there

Aww I bet you see her every time now! I would probably have done the same thing as you did though hun as I think I would feel a bit silly saying I was buying nappys for me even though my baby isn't due for ages. At the moment I don't even have a bump so I think I would just look like I am lying lol
