So went to my docs bowt a week and half ago and he told me I didn,t even have to there, I could just ring the place where i,d have my care, direct. So my oh rang and I was booked in for this thurs, got a call this morning saying that my doc should have either got me a referral or give me the hosp number so I could do it myself, so now i,ve got to wait for a letter with a date for my booking in. Can,t belive it, I was hoping to get my scan date on thurs, but now i,m gonna have to wait.

Bloody doctor, why didn,t he know to give me the number?!?!?! IDIOT!!!!

My docs are rubbish too hun, I rang them when I was nearly 5 weeks and they told me to ring the midwife direct. It took me 3 different numbers till i got the right one,and even then it was an automated response system. It has taken until today ( weeks later) for them to give me the date for my booking in appointment, which isn't until the 14th November! I'll be 9 and a half weeks!

My doctors are rubbish too. With my first pregnancy, not having a clue what to do I went to the doctor who was so uninterested and unhelpful I kind of walked out. He then thought to shout from his door that 'oh, you might need to phone a midwife, someone will give you the number' lol Useless lol

Good not just mine then, he always seems uninterested whenever I go, he said to me with it being my third I probs no more about it than he does, I couldn,t mind, but he,s not actually my doctor, don,t think i,ve ever seen my, actual doc.
