Ideas for birthing partners....?

I know it's a bit soon to discuss as haven't got a bfp yet but a girl does like to dream lol, so who do you think you'd like to be with you at the birth? I think I'd like my DH with me though strictly at the top of the bed, I read loads how it leave men disburbed seeing a baby coming out of his partner hAha, I did watch a doc recently one born whey minute where someone had their teenage son in with I thought that was a bit weird anyways, who do you all plan on having with you? Xx

I had my OH with me and my mum on standby as I didnt think my OH would stay the whole way through but i was wrong and to prove me even more wrong he watch our son be born.
My OH never cries but he balled his eyes out when Adam was born.

Id definately have my OH again x x

awww thats lovely, i wouldnt want any family with me i dont think - just my OH. Id like him to see our baby born although i know i say that now - maybe nearer the time ill chicken out and not want everything on display! x

I think i watched that on one born every minute lol. I want OH to be there and my mam but she doesnt want to come in she said lol she cant even watch it on tele x

Trust me Cherelle, u wont care who see's you once your in labour, u lose all dignity but its all worth it x x

i would want my other half there and my mum outside on standby! i think i wouldnt mind him seeing everything if he wanted! but i may go shy lol. x

Yer I think that's a good idea OH being there and and mum on standby he would prob not stick it out anyway very squeamish lol x

on my first i had my mum and my OH, to be honest you have no idea who is watchin down there an who isnt! so dont worry about that, i wudn of been able to do it without my mum she was great held it alltogether! whilst OH was in shock an sat there like a donut just getting bossed about by me!haha

yeh i saw that, didnt the dad lock her in loo too? and hit her round the head with a blown up glove lol

I think id deffo have to have my mum but the oh has already said when it happens, he'll be in the waiting room, if someone says the word blood hes in the loo being sick or is on the floor cause hes fainted lol

I suppose the OH's mum would try get in, she loves blood and guts and has said when/if it happens can she come and watch haha x

Haha oh I could never have DH's mother in the room lol it would be even more of the nightmare, yup lrb, that's the one some of the OH were awful saying you wanted this whilst they were in pain x

haha yeh was pretty bad lol...yeh most people say there mother in law's a nightmare, but mines more like a best friend so i dont think i could do it without her lol
