yay for me. its now been 5weeks that ive been b.feeding riley in alot of pain.

the HV was very suprised i had continued.

according to a different dr i saw, Riley doesnt have thrush, even though HV, and another doc agree, he has white in his mouth, and im in agony.
her reply was 'see how it goes, ill see you in a week'

me 'yeh thanks'

she expects the pain to go by tuesday. im not convinced.

Well done you, I did this too with my first but this time around she's just getting 1 bf a day, and all the rest are bottles. I found the hand pump helped a lot, the sucking is not so severe and you can still keep up the bf, also getting baby used to sucking through a teat.
Anyway hope it works out for you, and if not, do not succomb to the guilt party!!!
