He does get time off but classed as holiday coz he hasn't worked there long enough for paternity leave.. He will still get paid holiday though which is more than paternity pay anyway.. They want him to book it off (2weeks) by the end of this month which I think is a bit shitty coz how are we supposed to know when baby is coming??
That's good your getting a system ready already.. I think while oh is off he will do the school run if we have baby.. Gonna see if he can ask to start work 45mins later for a few weeks when he's back so he can drop the kids off to school.. Seeing as he's supposed to finish at 6 every night but continues til 8-9pm without paid overtime! And Sunday's which he doesn't get paid at all!! And saturdays til 4!
Hopefully things will just fall into place.. Hate the fact it's gonna be so cold in the mornings and our poor newborns have to be out in it
