Well, re the news that my IVF treatment was due to start I did a little investigative work (thought best to be prepared) and it seems that I was on a year long waiting list to get onto THE list and now have another 2 years to wait!
I am still waiting for the appointment that I was promised and that should be anyday now but can't believe I tricked myself into thinking it was the start of the treatment
If it does in fact turn out to be a full 2 years more then I think I am going to start looking into private IVF treatment home and abroad...

oh no so sorry hun find out a little more about your list then start finding out about the other stuff - hope it's a mistake somewhere and you can start sooner

Thanks Libs. to be honest, I think I may have read into it what I wanted to. Thinking back on the conversation I had they never did mention starting the treatment just that they had an available appointment earlier....my own fault really....
Maybe I should just wait and see at the appoinment before trying to read between the lines....
