I know I should know this but can implantation bleeding occur when period due or is it before?! Iam currently cycle day 38 and on 35 I started with period cramps but not as severe as they usually have me bent over double I've had pink/ light brown only when I wipe after urinating and yesterday (day 37) I had a small brown spot the size of half a 5p coin on a panty liner and that's it could it be just breakthrough bleeding?! I've no cramps any more had no sore boobs which I usually get a week before AF so I'm not sure if that was just a mini period till next month?! Xx

I'm not sure hun, I didn't want to read and run. In my experience, impantation happens a few days before AF would be due, which is why you can test from a day or 2 before AF with confidence. However, some people have to wait a while before they get a BFP so I would guess it is possible - if you're late for AF, I would defo recommend testing x

Thanks hun I thought it was before AF since I came off the depo over 4 years ago my periods haven't been regualar they have been between 27 and 39 day cycles past few months they have been around 33 days so I'm never 100% sure when I'm due I usually get really sore nipples and can't let me fella touch them around a week before AF but I've not had that this month to be honest I'm not even sure if I've ovulated as I don't chart (don't have time) and I don't remember seeing any EWCM and I usually have buckets of it lol (way tmi) I've had cramps / twinges through out the month but I just put that down to my job so I dunno xx

It drives you mad doesn't it!! I came off the pill... DIdn't wait for a period and tested peak fertility on the 2nd. The problem is I don't really remember how long my cycles are... So I'm only going by the fact that if I peaked on the 2nd then AF should have been due Thursday just gone. But I'm the same lots of cramping, sore boobies, discharge (again way tmi but true). And yet all I get iis BFN so I'm waiting til Thursday and if still nothing... I'm just going to sulk haha

I haven't tested yet I'm trying to have the will power not to so I haven't bought any as I know I'd just use them willy nilly and then sulk at the bfn stick which I'm pretty used to seeing but still get that horrible gutted feeling! I just don't know what those cramps and bleeding if that's what you can call it is I'd love it to be implantation but I've heard most women don't get it but if it was how long does it take for a test to show positive?! I've never had this before a period before and if it was my period that's not normal as usually have to pop painkillers and have to wear both tampax and pads and still have to change every hour as I'm that heavy but this has only been when I've wiped after a wee (sorry) and only had 1 tiny drop of brown blood on a panty liner which was Saturday today there's nothing when I wipe so that's lasted 4 days when I wipe only! Our bodies are very confusing! What tests have you been using?! Xx

I'm by no means an expert but that does sound like spotting.. I've used clearblue up until I read on here there not particularly great. So I need to buy some first response ones. I honestly don't think I am I think my periods are just a bit messed up as I went straight from the Mirena coil to the pill so didn't really have a period. And the pill I was on I took every day and I was reading that it can take a few months for the ovaries to release eggs again. All my symptoms have gone now so I dunno. But I totally agree why are our bodies so confusing!!

I had implantation bleeding on CD 11 or 12 before I found out I was pregnant with my DD. I could have sworn AF was coming. I had cramps and bought tampons...haha anything is possible. Sounds like possible implantation bleeding to me because that's pretty much what I had when I had it. Hope it's a BFP!

Well CD49 and still no signs of AF and last test I did was Sunday which was poundland and it BFN I'm at a ball on 7th November knowing my luck that's when she will show her face xx
