Tia was quite old before Teddy became her best friend... but lil miss has suddenly gotten very very attached to the sicky blankets... I dunno if its because we a)can't be more than arms length away from one at any time or b) they smell heavily of boob milk after they have been used to clean up baby puke just 1 time... But she really loves cuddling them, rubbing her face into them... putting them over her face and pulling them off again (playing peek a boo by herself)...sucking on them...chewing them...bashing them up and down....

So they are now called Mr.Blanky.... So How old were your LO's when they started to get attached to things... ?

Evie has a blanky from mothercare that has a bugs head on it and she adores it. She has to be able to see it all the time and she carries it everywhere already. She likes to rub it on her face when she's going to sleep.

He's been named bug bug. I have to wash it overnight so she doesn't know about it It's getting so bad that I might invest in another!

Jack got attached to that sort of blankie when he was about little miss's age. but now hes upgraded to a crochet one with tasels lol

I think around 3-4 months but then she changed later to a new teddy thing and now it is a blanket in her cot. She really likes burying her face in it so I always have to uncover her in the night

Kyrans such a woofter he wont go to sleep unless he has his dummy and a blanky by his face. Hes also starting to become very attached with anything with a label!! Went out the other day and realised we didnt have a blanky, so took off my jumper and he was gone in seconds holding the label....strange child!

He likes his boff blankets to squiglet!

Chloe is obsessed with her blanky, has it have it everywhere and if she dont have it when shes tired she will SCREAM until she gets it (we once went out with it! and god did we pay for it), not sure when she became really attached to it, she sucks her thumb too sot hey kid of go as a package deal

Paige has started getting attached to hers too already, she nomnomnoms it if shes tired and has to have it over/near her face, no sucking thumb yet though lol

P.S I had a blanky and sucked my thumb until I was an embarassing age...just like chloe is now, wonder if theres a connection?
