... if you get a positive OPK does that mean you definatly ovulate? :think: could you get the surge but not release an egg?

anyone know? :)
 
as far as i know a LH surge can be detected but you may not always ovulate
 
hey

I know you can get what looks like a positive but not have ovulated. For most people they have LH in their urine normally anyway so there should always be some sort of line...is the line as dark as or darker than the control line?

this is true...best to use OPK and temp to make sure your egg released

As I understand it OPK's indicate possible ovulation but not definitely ovulated, just likely to have ovulated. I think the only ways to tell for certain are with temping and maybe a scan of the ovaries? (not sure about the second one :lol: )
 
Thanks ladies! Yes it was as dark as the controle line. just :pray: 'ing iv actually ovulated! :lol:
