yay finally a thread thats nice to spiders

Theres some many threads on here with people shouting 'kill it'! Please don't squash them, makes me sad put them outside. its really true what they say, it won't hurt you, its more scared of you blah blah blah!!

Spiders don't bother me at all (in this counrty cause I know they can't hurt you, but I wouldn't want a black widow running run my frontroom )

day three:

charlotte has moved .

She is now further along the blind and higher up too. There are now two webs. As yet no flies are caught in them. Charlotte has not een very active today . Hope she is ok.

how u know its a girl?

if it is a girl are you gonna take her vets to see whats wrong with her hope they dont put her to sleep if shes not very well at all

i used to hate spiders until i was about 12 and woke up and saw this black thing on bed. when i moved of the bed cause i had a captains bed think it was called back then and went down the ladder and turned to see this massive female underneath me so i called me dad up to remove it and i asked him what the white stuff was and he said thats her babies. i was like cheeky female was under me keeping her babys warm while i slept. she was lucky i didnt crush her and them. he opened my bedroom window and put them all on the window ledge. as they was still in her cobweb. ever since then i aint scared of them well maybe when they sudden dangle down iin front your face lol apart from that im cool. actually i dont like the dark spiders tehy freak me right out.

my fiance and his mum are scared of them , wimps

hehe i like this thread can i join in?

i dont mind spiders i usually just leave them or if theyre very big n scarey ill catch them in a glass and put them outside.

we hav one living on one of our acer trees outside he's been there for 3 days now. he's really fat with short legs, my boyf said hes a wolf-spider (?). he named him but i cant remember what he called him now
he has stayed in the same place i thought he was dead, so my boyf poked him with a leaf and he moved, so hes not dead! probably a bit pissed off tho

so is that 3 webs for charlotte now then?

im not sure. two for definate. she made one on the right hand side of the blind then moved to the middle nd just dangled there . then this morning i looked and she was gone and i thought she'd left us. But then i noticed she was there and had made a gorgeous HUGE web on the left of the blind!

my sister just came and noticed her and commented how beautiful her web was. It is really stunning. I wish i could get a half decent photo of it. Maybe i could spray it with fake snow. (joke)

God I wish I could be like you Budge. Im terrified of spiders. Dont know why I just hate everything about them - the way they move, the way they look etc. I try my best to get over it and love Charlottes Web but its so hard. Just moved into a barn conversion and the place is crawling with webs and spiders. I figure its the best place to get over my fear! But do you have any tips on how I can stop being so repelled by them?

eww hate spiders dunno why but they freak me out! almost crashed the car today as i looked up to see one of those ones with the big fat bum at the back! dangling from my sun visor... managed to stay on the road untill the first safe place to stop and it fell on the floor i freaked out and squashed it with my foot! sorry... i just really freak at anything bigger than a money spider!
