Albert is starting to drop his 9pm feed, which means he'll go from 7-7. He's not quite there yet, he's still taking about 4-5oz and all his other night bottles have been dropped at 2-3oz. I'm a bit worried about trying it though, an early bath bottle and bed, he's in a lovely routine at the moment and I don't want to disrupt it by putting him to bed too early. He's the one that will ultimately suffer for it if I mess up.

Oh and if our neighbours don't put some oil on their trampolene I'm going to push their kid off the fecking thing! xxxxxxxx

He's a clever little mite isn't he?

So do you get a full nights sleep then? I am most envious.

Whilst I stopped feeding Tilly in the night, I can't say I am getting more sleep really. She wakes a lot and moans and grunts and shuffles.

Bb maybe wait a bit longer tbh!! While its going so well I'd say give it a few more weeks?? But if u really feel he's ready then its up to you if you're brave enough to try it :D Max is doing well on a bath at 8 feed at 8.30 bed at 9 routine,so I'm gonna keep going with that for a while longer til I think 9 can be movedd earlier.

How would u go around moving it earlier out of interest?

Xxxxx

No I don't sleep that much lol although a lot more than I did and it wears me out tbh, every little noise I'm awake, then thinking about washing/ironing/hoovering I could be doing lol.

I have to reiterate.....this has nothing to do with me lol, he sorts it all out himself I'm just along for the ride!

And as awful as this sounds I don't want him to sleep 7-7, I personally think he's too young to go that long without a feed and also if the Minion is late home from work he won't get to see Albert. Doing removals he's never 100% sure when he'll get home cos they can't leave the job half done iykwim. Bertie's getting grouchier though between say 7.30 and 8.30 although he kicked off big time last night and as soon as I put him in the bath he was all smiles lol

i think alyssa is trying to go down earlier shes proper grumpy after 7 really but yesterday she napped for 2 hours after 5 and went done a bit easier at 8.30 but woke at 4.30am starving cos shed missed out a bottle during the day cos of her nap

I personally wud wake him up for a feed still tbh, I have only just stopped doing it with harrison!! Babies dont wake up coz they are hungry so if he is a deep sleeper he may not realise he is hungry!! Also if they are too hungry when they wake up then they guzzle their bottle and are sick. Maybe try feeding him earlier or later for this feed untill it naturally dissapears!!

i spoke to HV when hannah dropped a feed. they told me just to go with her and if she needed it, she would start waking again....which she has. but she wakes around 4/5am now instead of 2am.....so i just feed her and pop her right back down and she sleeps til about 7:30am ish....so all still fine with me.

sometimes she still goes 12 hours......from 6:30pm to 6:30am, but this is maybe only once every couple of weeks..

hv said a few babies do start to sleep right through for 12 hours and if they do, just to up their intake through the day...to kind of make up for the missed night one xx

We have our HV coming this Thursday so will talk to her about it then. Thing is I don't want him asleep at 7pm if he's then going to wake up at 4am and think its ok to stay awake lol, especially with the lighter mornings. I think I'll let him take the lead like I always have and hope it's something he wants to do naturally and not because he is awake too much during the day iykwim

Don't get me wrong, I know how utterly blessed I am to have such a good baby who has slipped into a lovely routine, I just want to make sure he gets what he needs too xxxxxxxx
