Every now and then I get a sort of skin infection under my breasts which hydrocortisone cream sorts in like a few days but I’ve read it’s not safe in pregnancy. Does anyone know what I can use instead? I can’t get to doctors for a few weeks and it’s annoying me, as it’s just unpleasant!

Can you not ask at a pharmacy? I'm sure they would know :)

pharmacy is a good idea, they're usually pretty clued up!
What's the root cause? probably moisture build up or something, my OH gets it on his leg so just has to make sure it stays dry or it gets sore x

Are you sure you can’t use it? Gp gave it to me for a rash and said no worries for a short time.

When I had a rash on my hands doc said to try and wait it out but he could prescribe it if I really needed it.

Yes - that was my experience too. I had it round my eye - it was when I first got pregnant so I’m convinced it was to do with hormones- I tried e45 but it just got worse and worse. Gp was more worried about thinning of the skin than the fact I was pregnant. I would talk to gp/ pharmacist.
