HV visit and dogs?..

When we had our son 7 years ago! The hv disapproved and told us to get rid of our dog! I just ignored her! Family pets are a part of growing up! We sadly don't have a dog now but if I did I'd be telling the hv to do one. X

No hv has the right to tell you to get rid of your pet that is so unfair. We have a Persian cat and I would put her in another room for a visit. Mainly for her as she is a rescue cat and can get very nervous around strangers.

Just came across this post as it's something ive been thinking about.

I have 2 dogs, 1 who is very vocal and very bouncy LOL but, she is soft as butter.

I'm slowly training the girls to go into the conservatory when someone knocks as they go ballistic LOL

The HV will have to like it and lump it that I have 2 dogs - the girls are my life and seen me through some very difficult times in my life. x
