Hummus??

Hi ladies,

I had my booking in app' yesterday and notice that in the pack they gave me it advises different snacks to have, one of which being hummus! I've been avoiding it as i read somewhere that it's not safe! I've just had a look online and it's all so conflicting!

Any advice on whether it's safe or not would be appreciated as i really love hummus!

I've been eating loads of it and not seen anything that said you can't have it! Can't think why you couldn't have it unless fresh stuff has raw eggs in something?

I have read articles linking shop bought hummus to listeria. It must be safe if they advise it for us to snack on musn't it?!! It's a nightmare looking things up online isn't it, you just get bombarded with different info'!

it's fine, my mw suggested it as it's packed full of protein.
