Hi guys
I am new here. Hope I am posting in the right place.
Me and hubby haven't been trying but we have not used anything for 7 years. I am classed as morbidly obese and i have been told that I don't ovulate.
I have always been certain that i had two blocked tubes as i had PID when i was 17 thanks to a cheating boyfriend.
Anyhow, i went for a HSG a week ago. The NHS wont do anything until i get my BMI below 30, so i paid to go and have it done privately. I pretty much knew what the result was i just wanted it in black and white so i could move on.
I had the test, it wasnt that painful, i felt pressure more than pain. When the consultant when through the pictures she said that my right tube is blocked at the cornu and my left tube is clear.
I have been bleeding ever since the test, today i started getting period like cramps in my left side (open tube side)
I have seen the letter the consultant sent to my DR and they just advised of the blockage at that my left tube had a spill.
Now i have convinced myself that she had to push for dyr through to unblock my tube, but if she had to do that wouldn't she have to inform my doctor? I wish i had asked this question.
Do you guys agree? Would i have felt her pushing things through? she didnt say anything to me.
Is the pain normal? I am so worried, i wish i could just accept the good news, its just so hard. I don't want to get my hopes up incase the result was wrong/.
