how can you stop yourself from feeling broody? it's driving me nuts.

I feel weird cos i want 2 kids but i dont fancy starting again in 3years when everything is kinda back to normal. i just feel like i want to do the whole baby thing now. its not practical for us though so i need to squash this broodiness.

any ideas?

Oh babe that's an impossible task I am pregnancy obssesed. What I was gonna do was become a midwife that way I could be involved with pregnancy everyday without the need to be pregnant. However my friend announced she was pregnant just before christmas and needless to say I was a little broody and now I am 15 weeks pregnant :)

I would say get baby dancing chick the time may never be right

i had molly three weeks ago and i feel broody i miss being pregnant (god knows why) i keep thinking how perfect my other three are, i would love to have another perfect one my other half is the same im going to have to stop myself at some point because other wise we will end up with a football team of babies i really wanted a big family a house full of noise and i certainly have it. i don't think you can stop being broody you just make a descision to stop or keep going you will know in your head whether your ready yet.

i will have more someday i think, must be crazy with 3 allready but when my 3 are in school i will probably try again.

Go to as many baby groups as you can and make friends with someone who has a screamer.

 Now Urchins being helpfull, why didn't I think of that  xx

haha thats a good one. did you feel broody between mason and brody urchin? (broody before brody haha)

DH wants another when eva is 3. can't complain, he didnt eva want anymore a few weeks ago bless him. just need to get over this broodiness for now!!!

by the way nicki - i noticed there is 3years between each of your kids. do you think it is a good age gap? (im a broken record) are your girls close? x

ToriElla just have another one, get it out your system.

ild try and talk your partner round,i think its goodto have them both so close. i wouldnt have said it a few weeks back but Harleys 5weeks now Dior loves him and dont try battering him any more we are all in a routine..

then when Dior starts school Harley will start nursery
then il have my time :D

then they can grow together and talk to each otherand start going out up town together... there are 3 yrs between me and my brother and we are not very close, we are now as we both go up town and have a drink ect

There is exactly 2 years and 2 months between them,I felt that it was a perfect age gap for me. I was lucky as I managed to get Lauren potty trained before Megs was born and then she started playschool a couple of mornings a week which gave me some time with the baby. They have their moments fighting but they are close and protective of each other and always play together :D xx

i want them closer than 3 years really but it's a decision we both have to agree on. need to get it out of my head for now i think. i should be greatful that we have gone from no more kids -> 4years gap -> 3years gap :D

Hi

I would love another one now...i am soooooo broody!!

But..im going back to my nurse training next month. and have 12 months left to complete so im gona have to wait until then. So Jamie will be 2 when i qualify and probley 3 or older when i have next baby!
argh cant wait that long.......im not broody, im not broody im not broody!!!! :fib: :fib:

Get it over and done with
I got bored last night and worked out that with our 4, by the time they leave home, we'll have been
- walking to the same primary school every day for 24 years
- wiping arses for 16 years
- cooking tea every day for 31 years

and by the time Alex starts High School, we'll probably be grandparents

HEHE, how about a night at my house. Jess wont sleep properly and follows me round like a shadow. Im 30 weeks pg, have the cold, pee constantly and have a permenant hangover (or so it feels like).
That might just combat it just now.
