How soon did you get pg again?

Hi ladies,
I had my first baby 31.12.11 and found out i was pregnant again 22.03.12 but i lost my angel on 18.04.12 at nine and a half weeks. It was a happy surprise as there would have only been 10.5 months between them. We are now trying again even though we werent trying the last time. I was wondering how long it took any ladies who started trying again straight away? I havent yet had a period but i had lots of EWCM earlier in the week and a faint positive OPK, so im hoping this could be it, i will be gutted if its not succesful

Sorry to hear about your loss hun,

Dr's tend to to tell you to wait a cycle so it makes dating etc much easier - also it is best to let your body fully recover.

I had an early miscarriage and got pregnant again the very next cycle. Sadly this also ended in miscarriage

We had a few months off TTC after that so there was 4 cycles between my last m/c and this pregnancy!

Thank you, ive been lucky to already have my little boy to get me through.
The doctor told me to start again whenever we felt ready, its easier for them date if youve had a cycle but she said there was no other reason to wait. Suppose each doctor has their own opinion. Im trying not to get my hopes up plus i know i will be scared of it happening again if we do get a BFP xxx

Sorry for your loss. I had a miscarriage last September. Period returned end of October but went from every 28 days to every 26 days and we got pregnant in the December (not trying not preventing and to be honest I didn't have a clue when I was ovulating as I have never used opks or anything). Even though we werent using protection it was still a huge shock as i was naive and didnt think it could happen so soon and was terrified something would go wrong again - not helped by spotting at the start. Im still paranoid even now but i think thats sometimes natural after a loss. I hope you get your bfp soon xxxx

Sorry for you loss I had a miscarriage in October last year (d&c on the 1st November) then I got my bfp on 8 February of this year so not too long in between. This pregnancy is going well although I do still worry! Only natural. I hope you get your bfp soon, best of luck xxxx

i tried 3 months after loosing one and got pregnant again,that one is now 7 months old and im bloody almost 8 weeks pg again

Took 6 months after mc but only had 2 AF in those months. Fx for you it will happen soon xxx

Hi sorry for ur loss its never easy,I had a mmc last may and it took me almost a year to get my second bfp which I got 29th march and I have just had my second mmc (in hossy at moment) at 9+4 ,I'm going to be trying asap and hopefully won't take me a whole year again gd luck hope it happens soon xx

Hey, I caught on my 4th cycle between my last mc and this pregnancy, this seems to be the case with me as a rule, every 4th month. However my friend is currently 37w pregnant and she concieved without a cycle after her mc and obviously baby is doing well.

After mc last week im desperate to start again after ttc for 2 years before this bfp. I really hope it doesn't take another 2 years! I'm pleased we did conceive as we'd started to worry there was a problem with our fertility. Just a shame it didn't work out. Now I've had the pregnant feeling I'm desperate for my next bfp, and I just pray that if I get one it goes all the way. Xxxxx

Hey I had a miscarriage on 1st March last year, started trying straight away and got my BFP on 30th March! No period inbetween! I now have my little Stanley so it doesn't always take time! You are naturally more fertile after a miscarriage or birth apparently! Fingers crossed for you hunni. Xx

hi. i had a loss on jan 25 at 9/10 weeks and am now 13 weeks pregnant i fell pregnant almost straight after the loss. we werent trying as we assumed it would take a long time to get things back into order but were happily surprised to find out it had happened so soon x

I had a mc on 4th June last year and was PG again by September, unfortunately I had another loss at 10 weeks and now I'm PG again and just over 15 weeks.
