How soon can you get a positive hpt?

I was just wondering, when is the soonest possible anyone has ever gotten a positive hpt? I hear people say 8dpo and 9dpo but is that to early??

I am 9dpo and already feeling different.. very sore bbs and extremely tired and also a little crabby.

Any one else had this 9dpo?

It all depends on the HCG level and everybody is different, I do think that 8-10 is still too early to get a reading, I didn't get a pos till 12 dpo which was very faint but the levels double everyday so the more you can leave it till you are due AF the better x

Thanks.. I just guess i am very impatient! Just want to know I am due AF on the 28th so i will prob wait untill then if i can! I just ordered some tests online. How is your pregnancy going? 6 weeks & 5 days?

Ohhh it is terrible the 2WW (2 week wait), I think you get to the point you imagine symptoms on the hope that you are pregnant, very hard time just waiting till you can test.

I seem to be ok thanks, queasy every morning at 5am which wakes me up, have occassional cramping and sore boobs but everything else is fine, just looking forward to the dating scan now to make sure little un is ok too.

The tests you bought from ebay, are they early readers? x
